We are pleased to announce a new premier social dance event with a difference - the inaugural SOCK UP SOCIAL & Battle of The (Wgtn) DJ’s = now at 110 Hutt Road (FwH Dance Studios)!

Over the years we have supported the Wellington Rock’n’Roll dance scene by, attending club dances and events, representing a club at competitions and being on committee.  We want to acknowledge and recognise the local Rock’n’Roll dance scene and the local clubs that keep Rock’n’Roll alive with a special event. 

We now mark a major milestone within our own dancing partnership, that of dancing together for over 28 years, including a number of years (in this period) running and teaching through our dance studio, FEET with Heat.  To celebrate our unofficial studio birthday and this major dancing milestone, we are marking the occasion with a special dance event and are pleased to announce and invite you to the: SOCK HOP SOCIAL and Battle of the (Wellington) DJs 

The Sock Hop is a 1950's dress themed Saturday night dance, so come in your best 1950's attire.  There will be prizes for the best dressed and most authentic 1950's outfits.  Later in the evening we will feature a DJ Battle with our 5 confirmed local Dance DJs, who will be otherwise taking turns throughout the evening spinning their best Rock’n’Roll dance tracks.  We will separate each DJs R’n’R set with a couple of slow tunes (just like they did at Sock Hops).

Doors open from 6:30pm and dancing from 7pm at 110 Hutt Rd, Kaiwharawhara. COST: $30pp earlybird by 15th April and $40pp from 16th April.
