Yes it's back with and with a new addition to the Art Deco era dances - The Peabody (so far as we know, a first for Wellington). Also a first this year will be the SUMMER SWING BOOTCAMP on Saturday 13th January just before the weeknight classes start. This will introduce all three dance styles to the complete beginner - no experience necessary.
The weeknight classes will then continue to add more detail, fun moves and technique over the following weeks. It is possible to do one or the other, but why would you - unless you're working, if not come to all of them!
So once again please join us at the very reputable FEET with Heat Summer Swing programme featuring:
- 1920s Solo & Partner Charleston
- The Peabody (otherwise known as the fast Foxtrot - but not like the Foxtrot we know today!)
- The Foxtrot (we'll cover the 1920s version as well as the modern social rhythm Foxtrot)
Following the Summer Swing BOOTCAMP on Sat 13th Jan classes will commence 6-7pm every Tuesday from the 16th January. This year's season will continue through to February for those attending the Tremains Art Deco weekend in Napier (February 15-18).
Classes are suitable for the complete beginner and as the classes progress additional moves suitable for intermediate dancers will come into play.
Prices: $65 Adult/$60 Students for 5x Tuesday's or casual rates of $18 Adult/$15 Students per class
